We encourage you to attend the inspection!

Your inspection begins with our Inspection Agreement; it protects us and it protects you. You may download, sign and bring it with you to the inspection, email a signed copy to us in advance, or we'll bring a copy to the inspection and you can sign it then. Either way, we will not enter the home without this signed document. You'll find our Inspection Agreement here.

 

Please inform the homeowner of the inspection date/time and ask that pets are secured or out of the house. Make sure that someone will be there to unlock the home. Ask that all systems (water, electricty, etc.) are turned on; we do not have the authority to turn on any systems. If we are unable to perform any part of the inspection due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. pets unleashed; electricity is off), inspection fees are generally nonrefundable.

People often ask if friends and family may attend the inspection. Unfortunately, this poses a liability issue, and we do not have permission from the property owner to allow anyone other than you and your realtor/attorney to attend. Likewise, children under 12 should not attend.

 

Let us know in advance which, if any, additional tests you would like performed (radon, mold and/or wood destroying organisms).
